We are a family farm breeding and hatching poultry in South Western Missouri since 2016. Typically we are farm-pickup only at our home, please respect our privacy and make an appointment before showing up. We raise approximately 20-30 breeds of heritage chickens, geese, turkey, and ducks.
Due to the number of things that can affect poultry health we do not refund birds once they have left the property or swap table.
Pullet Policy
Please understand the difference between when we make an Intelligent Guess for you and when we sell a Sexed Pullet. An intelligent guess varies by breed and age of the bird. We are still selling you a Straight Run bird, we do not refund you if its a rooster.
Some times we get professionally sexed pullets. We have a company do it and it should be 80-90% accurate. If you get more than 10% roosters we will refund you the difference between the chick prices. E.G. If the pullet was $7 and the SR is $5 we will refund the $2/ea difference per bird. If you do get more than 10% roosters we would like to know about it. We provide the sexed pullets as a courtesy to our customers -we actually make less money on them.
When we provide sexed pullets, they are their Own Hatch. We do not sell pullets out of our Straight Run batch and leave you with 90% roosters in our SR birds.
Return Policy
Due to the nature of caring for live animals, we can not accept returns or give refunds after you have left the place of purchase. From time to time, we have a baby animal with a treatable condition, that we fully disclose, typically discount, and offer limited help with treating. These animals are not guaranteed in any way. We may make a refund or replacement, fully at our own discretion.
